Fiesta Mayor de Gràcia

The Fiestas of Gràcia have a long tradition and are one of the most famous in Barcelona for the various organized activities, but mainly for the decoration of the streets and balconies. But the important thing is to participate, a competition between the streets is organized and prizes for the three best decorated streets are granted. Oh, and the themes are secret until the day when the festivities begin. There is as well another competition, the decoration of the balconies in which each neighbor can participate. And this year the Fiesta will be very special celebrating its 200th anniversary! 
Fiesta Mayor de Sants
From August 19 to 27
And shortly before the end of the festivities in Gràcia, the fiestas of Sants start, so anyone who has not had enough or could not go there has a second chance, because each of the two Fiestas has its own style. The Sants residents participate in the streets as well, decorating in a similar way as it is done in the Gràcia quarter

The program Gandules'17 - Gas Natural Fenosa is dedicated this year to women who break stereotypes: femmes fatales, rebels, imperfect mothers or violent women are the protagonists of a program with films of all ages, genres and nationalities. In this edition 9 films will be screened
