Sade's writings can be interpreted as both a philosophy of freedom and a philosophy of evil. The exhibition shows his influence on thought from the early 20th century to the present day, explores his impact on artists and intellectuals, and explains how he has become an icon present in popular culture.

In Barcelona and its metropolitan area, there will be 90 cultural centers that will open free of charge from 7:00 p.m. on May 13 to 1:00 a.m. on May 14.
