Sitges International Film FestivalThe 54th edition of the SITGES - International Fantastic Film Festival of Catalonia will have as its common thread the figure of the werewolf, one of the main icons of the classic theme of the inner beast. Films like Julia Ducournau's explosive Titane, Cannes 2021 Palme d'Or; Lamb, Icelandic folk-horror filmmaker Valdimar Jóhannsson and starring Noomi Rapace; The Deep House by Alexandre Bustillo and Julien Maury, an underwater supernatural horror proposal; or the latest installment in the Halloween saga, Halloween Kills, by David Gordon Green, with a fireproof Jamie Lee Curtis.

La Mercè - Barcelona's FestivalAfter 2020, the year in which La Mercè was held, but with many limitations, this year the most important event in Barcelona recovers its essence, although with all the necessary precautions. 2021 will put us back in touch with the traditions that we most appreciate and the classic scenes of the party will be present again and, as always, new spaces will be added. The proclamation that will mark the beginning of La Mercè 2021 will be in charge of Custodia Moreno Rivero, activist and neighborhood leader of the Carmel and Can Baró neighborhoods. Havana is the guest city in La Mercè 2021, so in La Mercè this year you can enjoy music, dance and images created in the capital of Cuba. On September 24, Passeig de Gràcia will host, between Diputació and Rosselló streets, the popular culture collectives of Barcelona. The Piromusical will be held, but not to be seen from the street, like last year.

The Vienna Philharmonic in the Sagrada FamiliaLa Sagrada Familia is the chosen stage in Barcelona for the celebration of the Vienna Philharmonic's special concert, on September 18. The day before, on September 17, there will be a general rehearsal open to the public with the intention of bringing culture and the Sagrada Familia closer to the citizens of Barcelona. In September they will inform, through the website and social networks of the Sagrada Familia, on how to access the invitations.

Pride BarcelonaBarcelona has hosted every summer and since 2008, the main gay pride celebration in the Mediterranean, attended by more than 380,000 people each year (under normal circumstances). Pride Barcelona is a non-profit event, both festive and demanding in favor of the rights of the LGTBI collective and offers a careful selection of activities: talks, seminars, cinema, artistic exhibitions, shows ... and during the night, in addition, the night bars, discos and saunas of the city hold special parties. However, due to the pandemic, this year's edition was divided into two parts: a more limited one that was held in June and an expanded one that was held on September 4. This year's motto is "Undetectable = Untransmittable", a motto that aims to help combat the stigma of HIV, since people with HIV in treatment with undetectable viral load do not transmit HIV.

Festival of Gràcia (Festa Major de Gràcia) | ProgramThe Festival of Gràcia have a long tradition and are one of the most famous in Barcelona for the various organized activities, but mainly for the decoration of the streets and balconies. La Reial ens Mou!Between July and August, in the Plaza Reial, small-format concerts, family activities and sports days are offered in the cultural recreational proposal that has been called La Reial Ens Mou! and that is part of the Àgora Musical program.
