Picasso - Picabia. Painting in questionWhen Picasso and Picabia were little known, the press often confused them by the similarity of their names. This anecdote was perhaps the harbinger of an ambiguous relationship between two apparently antagonistic painters in their way of understanding art. In the first stage of their career they exhibited in the same gallery (1904) but their trajectories crossed in few occasions during that stage. This exhibition, however, reveals for the first time the numerous points in common of their work and the crossed histories of these two great contemporary painters, as well as their relationship and attitude towards the same changing reality.

Open Works. Art in Movement, 1955-1975This exhibition, organized by the Catalunya La Pedrera Foundation, brings together an important selection of works by 37 international artists who, in the 1950s and 1960s in Europe, serched a profound transformation in the role of the spectator. Fiesta Mayor de La BarcelonetaThe Fiesta Mayor of the Barceloneta quarter is celebrated around the day of Sant Miguel (September 29). Swab BarcelonaSwab Barcelona, ​​founded in 2006 by the private collector Joaquín Díez-Cascón, is an international art fair that gathers galleries from different parts of the world, curated projects and collector's programs. Its objective since it was founded is to introduce young and emerging artists with talent from the current panorama of contemporary art.
